Get to Know Us
In Spring 2023, while exploring the powerful no-code engine Game Maker from The Sandbox, we identified a significant gap: there was no easy way for people without design skills to create customized 3D assets that would set their games apart.

Recognizing this pain point, we envisioned a solution that would democratize 3D asset creation. We imagined a platform where users could generate high-quality, customized game assets quickly and easily, regardless of their technical skills. This led to the inception of VoxAI.
Our initial focus was on voxel models, chosen for their simplicity and compatibility with popular platforms like Minecraft and The Sandbox. We identified the tech stack needed to bring this idea to life and began development. However, through testing with experienced designers, we discovered that rigging—defining the skeleton of the model for animations—was a significant pain point even for professionals.

This insight shifted our goal to creating rigged models, making VoxAI a valuable tool for users at all skill levels. The platform now enables users to generate models usable for prototyping or as static assets in game decor, providing immediate value while continually evolving based on user feedback.

Is the tool compatible with popular game engines?Yes, the exported 3D voxel models are compatible with GameMaker (The Sandbox). More file formats and game engines will be supported soon.

Can I customize the voxel models after they are generated?Yes, our tool provides the option to download your model in .VOX (including the model and its color palette) and import it to voxel editors such as MagicaVoxel or VoxEdit where you could fine tune your model further.
